If ISU holds on, the justification for ranking them above us will be that they're a resilient team that's won 3 times after trailing in the fourth quarter. Of course, the fact that we haven't trailed in the fourth quarter at all, or even in the second half, will be nothing more than a footnote.

PSU now have wins over 2-4 UCLA and 2-4 USC (in OT), so their best win is now 5-3 Wiscy who likely loses tonight at Iowa to fall to 3-3 in conf. So they will have not beaten a team with a winning record in conference. They have a loss. Why are their wins better than ours without a loss?

They are a traditional football school. Won’t happen

James Franklin showed some real fight against that PSU student while walking off the field. Moral victory. PSU stays put.

Then IU and UCLA basketball should be ranked in the top ten. Each season should be judged on that seasons results alone.
