I really just want this season to end. I've accepted that we won't be in a bowl (again) and Purdue is going to beat us (probably by a lot). I just hope nothing crazy happens, like all the stars aligning and them winning the West, which I could totally see unfolding.

Iowa would be up by 3 right now if they had done the smart thing and kicked an extra point instead of going for 2 when the score was 28-23.

 

Not that it matters, really. Purdue usually responds with a quick score after giving up the lead.

Again, brilliant call by Iowa to go for 2 with almost half the game still to be played. Those two PAT's were the difference.

I’m not watching another IU football game until the university makes a commitment to winning. No more picking coaches from the bargain bin.

I would think so. It would be hard to keep going forward with much of the staff after that. Guessing if that’s the case next season would be his last.

Changing assistants under Allen will work as well as it did when Pagano coached the Colts.

You should save Glass the time and tell him this. I am sure if you use that exact analogy he will listen.
