Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Some of the better tweets: You can't spell Iowa without 'ow'! Fran has coached 201 games at Iowa. When Iowa is the first to 70 points, it is 92-4. When the opponent is the first to 70, Iowa is 2-56. ThompsonHoosier, Bobman1, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 4 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Penn State on 10-0 run for a 25-18 lead. This BTT has already been crazy! PSU is raining threes in Indy. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
JaybobHoosier Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Good game. OSU will be a decent team next year. Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 This game is all about runs. OSU makes a run, PSU answers. PSU gets some separation and OSU roars back to take the lead. PSU chipping away now. JaybobHoosier 1 Quote

Magnanimous Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 What would be better for IU moving up in NCAAT seeding: beating MSU to win the BTT or winning the BTT and having MSU not even make the championship game? Quote
Trish Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 It's on ESPN2 as soon as i posted this , i figured someone would tell me it's on real TV. thank you! JaybobHoosier and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote
BtownBanner6 Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 What would be better for IU moving up in NCAAT seeding: beating MSU to win the BTT or winning the BTT and having MSU not even make the championship game? According to Lunardi, it doesn't matter, if we make the BTT final we're a 2 seed with no chance of a 1. Take what he says as you will. Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 What would be better for IU moving up in NCAAT seeding: beating MSU to win the BTT or winning the BTT and having MSU not even make the championship game? There are a ton of other factors in there. If MSU loses its first game to Penn State while we beat Michigan, pu, and then Maryland in the final it's better for IU. That would put a terrible loss on MSU while also boosting Penn State's RPI to probably under 100. That also gives us two more top 25ish RPI wins and another top 100 RPI win (Michigan). That would probably get us to a high 2 seed but would need some other things to go our way to get that in the South Region (Louisville). Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Hopefully this PSU/OSU game comes down to the wire like the first two BTT games. Quote
