Every recruit is different but there is just too much circumstantial signs pointing to IU.

Rabjohns being a key media person communicating with the family, often

Mrs. Garland's teary eyed walk across Branch McCraken Court during HH

Pros and Cons seem to weigh heavy in IU's favor (better staff, bball school, homestate school for dad, IU school of journalism, crazed fan base, etc.)

Likes on instagram

He could go to Vandy. It's his hometown school. However, could it be that he wants to keep people guessing right up until his announcement? It seemed like after HH it was just a matter of time before he would commit to the Hoosiers. Maybe he wanted a little excitement around his commitment and had a few friends post things on social media.

The Garland's appear to be a solid family. Darius seems like a good kid and I'll wish him the best wherever he plays college ball.

You think Darius would pick another school right before IU has a big game? That would be a seriously low blow on his part. If he was going to Vandy he could commit to them tomorrow and then go to their game.

My first thought it was good for iu. He’s gonna throw it in Archie’s face like that?

If he announced during a vandy game? The spin would be the same on this forum lol

Darius has made a decision. This we know. If he is going to Vandy why is he liking a post on the Indiana men's basketball Instagram account?

Reverse psychology and it is so easy to like on Instagram. He really doesn't care when IU season is about to start or the post on Instagram saying so by Freddie. This is all a figment of our imagination. Moving on and commence the manic levels of fandom.

Then why doesn't he like Vandy's version of the same thing he liked on IU's? Again not his first time liking IU items on Instagram. I have yet to see him like Vandy items on Instagram. Making friends? Isn't that a good sign for IU since he would spend 40-60 hours a week with these guys?

 

Edit: yes I really just looked through 360 likes of Vandy BB account and no DG. I also found they have just over 2000 followers on IG. DG has over 36k. That's sad.

Until his IU visit. Then he went to UCLA and all IU communication stopped. He didn't set an announcement date and keep communicating. That would be unusual at best when he is on radio silence on twitter and elsewhere.

Vandy is the pick ,everyone picking Vandy now but Meyer.Reason it is on wednesday so Indiana media can't attend.

Oh wow it’s amazing that you know more than Peegs, Rabby, Evan Daniels, Zags, and even the coaching staffs. Your sources must be super close to the Garlands! I’m guessing the family dog?

Alright, I did some digging. I compared the amount of IU players that Darius is following on instagram vs the amount of VU players he is following. It was an even amount, both at 2 players. A big difference however, Darius is following Indiana Men's Basketball's Instagram account, and he is not following the Vanderbilt Athletics account. This is really only significant to anyone who buys into the social media aspect of recruiting, and coming from a college student, social media is prominent around me and I am sure it's no different for Darius. However, Darius did not like the video posted today by the IUMBB instagram.
