We've never really been in this.  He's trying to get Romeo to Vandy and from what I hear is doing a good job of it.

 

And not only that, but there’s also this IU message board poster named dbmhoosier who promised that if IU hired Archie Miller instead of Billy Donovan, he never root for IU again.

I'm moving on in my mind. I just don't see it being us based on the last week or so of developments.

Worried about Langford too, to be honest. I'm not convinced Arch can pull a rabbit out of his hat in 1 year with these guys we have now. If the Langfords base their decision on our ability to win this year, I'm worried.

Either way, I'm not going to let myself stress with recruiting like I did with Crean, because I have more faith in Archie overall. Just not so sure we get Garland or Langford. We'll survive, it'll just be a slower build.

I have remained quiet on this but Assembly Call guys think the timing of the announcement is not a great sign for IU. Not sure if they are hearing anything but actual faces attached to a thought means more to me than what people on here are posting.

Why? Those guys aren't anymore connected to the program than posters here. They're just fans who run a popular podcast. That's their opinion. Some on here have the same opinion. Some on here have a different opinion.

Oh I don't think they're connected at all really in this case. I just am saying to hear them say it out of their mouths instead of having it typed on here hits home for me more than ever that Darius may be going elsewhere

I said we shouldve hired Gregg Marshall not Billy Donovan.  I'm sold on Archie though.  He's going to win big here.  We're just going to have to wait until year 3 or 4.
