akinnaird24 Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I really want us to improve our player residency for this very reason. I would also like to see an improved locker room after seeing some pictures of the current one cljones1979 and Iugradman 2 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Wait what's wrong with the locker room? It looks nice in all the pictures I've seen. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

VO5 Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I’m really high on Hunter. He’s 6’7 with shooting guard capabilities. Give him a year and he’ll be a stud. Also Bozich and the Michigan beat writer said he’s underrated being ranked at 50. Stromboli, Iugradman and Hoosierfan2017 3 Quote

Lockerroom and Living Space have got to be the next priority. I know our weight room is nice. But I'd rather live in a palace and workout in a regular gym than the other way around. akinnaird24 1 Quote

I don't think we need to build them their own dorm complex. The rooms aren't as nice as what they have at Kansas or Kentucky, but here they have pretty coeds across the hall. I agree that there are advantages to building them their own building with all the bells and whistles like UK and KU have but I think there are advantages to having them in a student dorm too. Idk though, maybe I just think this because I'm weird and really liked dorm life lol. Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners For some reason I *think the fan base is ready, emotionally, either way. We're not pinning hopes and dreams on this one recruit, because there's so much else happening with the program right now. It's like we've been sailing with a mad captain, mutinied, and now have the stable hands of good leader. It's calming and reassuring. Like everyone I'm keeping a close eye on Garland and Langford. Incredible opportunity here, and crazy that it could happen in CAM's first class. But otherwise, I don't really enjoy the churning rosters, flash, groveling, and incontinuity of OAD teams. As much fun as it is to take 6-7 recruits a year, I prefer following a player for 3-4 years on the roster. I guess the question is whether or not you can win the whole darn thing if you don't play the recruiting game and eschew the top talent. Last point. I do think the 5* guys we're tracking now are special in that they are very high quality young men. Romeo, Darius, Trendon, Trayce. Everything I read is that these kids are level-headed gentlemen. Same mold as Yogi or Eric Gordon. It'd be awesome to have them represent IU. IUsafety, ThompsonHoosier, FortWayneHoosier and 7 others 10 Quote

Capt. Crimson Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Just glancing at a few KU boards and I don't even see any Romeo threads on the first page. Plenty of Grimes threads though.I did the same with both KU and UNC. No one really seems to care about getting him. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
