IU-PSU post game thread

Rojo was fouled hard. Refs called a flagrant 1 on the Penn. Students didn't like the call and took it out on Rojo.

I may have to rewatch to verify but if my memory is correct they were especially tough on RoJo from the opening tip... I believe he got the ball on the first pass and it was immediately extra loud ... sounded like BOOOO on the TV but they could have been chanting something else...

I believe the first pass was a Trow Williams assist to a PSU guard for an easy layup..

On last night's CTC radio show, Ryan Burton made a comment that the team doesn't have time for much of a social life.  I hope with the season winding down that the intensity level of practice would taper.  Yes, we lost to PSU, but I'm not sure a grueling practice on Sunday night was the answer.  Even for the upper classmen, they have to be feeling the wear and tear of the season and at this late date, more practices and/or harder practices aren't going to cure this teams flaws.

This along with 2 hour pregame walk thrus will kill a team this late in the year. With all the experts around Crean, why are we even discussing this? Hearing this plus his post game comments about him admitting he didnt pay attention to the details of the game are inexcusable and great examples why Penn St beat us.

Gotta be hard to schedule a social life when practice is never scheduled and always at the spur of the moment.

I've seen multiple comments about this from the team. I think a player in a previous week's radio show even mentioned it.

Max mentioned it in the B1G Media pressers comparing Beilein to Crean.

“Coach Beilein has a month’s schedule printed out for us in advance,” Bielfeldt said Oct. 15 at Big Ten Media Day in Rosemont, Illinois. “(With) Coach Crean, you get a text three hours before practice.”

In regards to Rojo, PSU students pick a random player at the start of each game and boo him throughout.

Man, if that practice being scheduled at random times is true it just makes me want Crean gone that much more. He just doesn't get it. These are 18-22 year old kids. They need proper planning and schedule times from their leader, not spur of the moment crap. Really pisses me off

I am no expert but that seems really odd.

Yep. That was it.
