zinch2o Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 http://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/noah-vonleh-1.html vonleh was 16-33 from 3pt range at iu yes! Zinch's memory is off here. Vonleh was an exceptional shooter and rebounder. His three point shooting was best of any center in college that year I believe Facts. Touche´ I was wrong....I don't remember him shooting that many triples or being that much of an offensive minded or good player. HoosierTrav 1 Quote

Props for owning it. I would give TB the advantage on demanding the ball and having more post moves. I was shocked when Vonleh started knocking down threes, especially at such a high percentage. Vonleh had a great wingspan and hand size at the combine I believe. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

HoosierCoop Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Bryant, Davis, and O.G. could have something special next year. I don't think we will see Williams next year regardless. Guard play my take a step back but still be solid. Please stay Mr. Bryant and give us a shot next year. Quote
KingPG21 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Most reliable source, imo. I mean literally all those guys do is follow draft prospects and talk to NBA teams. The other sources usually do a good amount of other things. I mean if people want to use other sources its whatever, but they should pail in comparison to the guys over at DraftExpress Kepner 1 Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Via BleacherReport: Thomas Bryant, Indiana "To me he's a guy not ready to play in the NBA. There are people in his ear saying that he needs to come out because he'll be a first-round pick this year, which may be true, but he could just as easily go in the second round. And even if he does get drafted in the first round, he's so far from being able to play in an NBA game that he's one of these guys who could play himself out of the league very quickly, and before he knows it, he'll end up in the D-League." http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2604753-2016-nba-draft-could-include-fewer-one-and-dones-influence-future-decisions?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial Class of '66 Old Fart and Kepner 2 Quote
BGleas Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 It's much riskier for those late 1st round picks now then it was before the last CBA. In the past, if you got selected in the first round you were guaranteed 4 years. Now a team has the option on the 3rd and 4th years, so a first round pick can be released after just two years. So if you're picked 27th or something, you could be out of the league in 2 years. Yes, you made a couple hundred grand at 19-20 years old, but if Antoine Walker can burn through $100M in a couple years, a college aged kid can blow a couple hundred grand before he even buys his mom a house. I've kind of stayed away from this comparison cause Orton didn't play much at UK. But it is still pretty apt, Orton had plenty of upside like others have pointed out with Bryant. Bryant just happens to be playing in a situation that he can showcase his ability, whereas Orton sat behind some kid who was a beast named DeMarcus Cousins. Dude needs to, and should come back for another year Quote
coonhounds Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Needs another year or two to put mucle on and work on his technique on defense and posting up. Mostly physical ability another year of weights will do wonders imo Quote
Brass Cannon Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Most reliable source, imo. Gotta think with that wide a range its not likely we lose anybody, but I guess it all comes down to what the league tells the kids. Quote
VO5 Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Projected to go 20th according to chad ford's new big board. Looking like this could be a real possibility that he jumps. :( Quote

They have him listed as the 25th best prospect, so not far off of where Ford has him listed. http://www.draftexpress.com/rankings/Top-100-Prospects/ You won't find him in the mock draft, because as of right now they believe he is coming back to school. djsalway and Alford Bailey 2 Quote
biteoftheapple Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 But, what I replied to was that he was projected to be drafted at #20. Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I wonder what's up with the discrepancies between draft analysts Chad Ford, being ESPN, is slow to move off of preseason expectations. Wasn't Bryant sort of targeted as a first round pick on potential? As pap said, I wouldn't pay much attention to anyone other than Draft Express Kepner and lillurk 2 Quote
IUBB666 Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Has anyone seen where we're showing interest in 2016 Centers?? That could mean something Quote

HoosierTrav Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Chad Ford..... Dont believe anything he writes this early in the year. By draft time (even on draft day) he will poach everything that Adrian Wojnarowski actually has figured out. I'll worry when the consensus says that he ends up in top half of the 1st. lillurk, Alford Bailey and IUsafety 3 Quote
