Yeah Painter is a good, tier 2 coach. I think we'll quickly see that Archie is in that top tier.

Yes, but I think these recruits are quite in-line with the kind that Painter has been pulling of late, Swanigan excluded. He's good enough to make fringe 100-200 ranked players into a formidable team.

That style of building teams allows a program to be consistent but not elite. If Painter could get better players he could contend every year. I don't see him getting to that level though. Consistent, yes. Elite, no.
