IU vs Duke Post Game Thread

Honest assessment---we are a mid-tier Big Ten team right now.  We are nowhere near a lock for the NCAA tourney. Time to work on defense 24/7. At best right now we look just like last year's team and we should be so much better.  It's on Coach Crean to get it turned around QUICKLY.

I think you are still overly optimistic. I would say after what I saw tonight, we are a bottom of the B1G and maybe 80 - 90 range. We certainly have personnel that should make us better, but the whole of the team is much less than the sum of it's parts.

thanks I was going to say we are not a top 30 to 40. We will miss the tourney guaranteed if we don't play defense. And Thomas bryant with zero rebounds should be benched for Priller till big ten

Same reasons every time.  Just another very poor defensive effort.

Also, I hate it when Indiana gets into their 1-on-1 mode with the ball.  Every time we get down, it seems like someone tries to take over and do things on their own.  Everyone else stops moving, and the game gets away from us further.

This team has no chance to do anything until defense becomes a priority to the entire team.  Coaches, players, managers, and everyone involved.  It's obvious the players either aren't buying in or simply aren't doing what they're taught....or.....aren't being taught.   Either way, it's a huge problem; but the ball scores....gotta' stop THAT first.

Something has got to give after this game. Iu players need to start wearing those uniforms with pride. They need to come ready to play. They cant give up after a little adversity is thrown at them.
