ThompsonHoosier Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I want us to beat them so bad! I really don't like Franklin and it would also show Tommy Stevens! HoosierAloha and JaybobHoosier 2 Quote
Falcons Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 We did really well against Hackenburg last season. This guy folds under pressure. Get to him early and often and then he will start taking sacks and get totally out of rhythm. HoosierAloha and HoosierReb01 2 Quote
mhoban Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 If we have our healthy studs back and do not suffer the post-Missouri let down like last year we could really put it to them (PSU) in their own sandbox. Quote
ThompsonHoosier Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I don't want to count wins when we haven't even played the games yet, but if we can beat PSU, we would be playing for our 6th win the following game during homecoming against Rutgers! Now that would be something we haven't seen from IU in a long time! HoosierReb01, thebigweave and JaybobHoosier 3 Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I want to beat Penn State so every idiot I know stops saying we should draft Hackenburg. JaybobHoosier and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote
Magnanimous Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Some comments made by Adarius Rayner about Hackenberg are coming to the surface this week. As physical as last week's game was, I think that our front seven are drooling over the thought of this game. 20 points should beat Penn State. Quote

MartintheMopMan Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I would think both should be able to play, especially Sudfeld. Guess you never know though. They've been practicing all week. It seems likely they'll play. Bobman1, JaybobHoosier, Crimson and Cream and 1 other 4 Quote
HoosierReb01 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Well, IU needs to pretty much forget about the OSU game. There were a lot of encouraging things in that game but it was still a loss. Take the good things and build on them, the bad things and improve on them. I'll take a ugly win over a loss any day. Bobman1, JaybobHoosier, LockdownD and 1 other 4 Quote

Miller'sTheMan Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 I am interested in seeing how our defense does. This game last year we absolutely stifled Penn State's offense and didn't let them get anything going, and I think our defense is better this season than it was last year. It's @PSU though so we need a fast statrt to get the crowd out of it. I think we will score our fair share of points even though Penn State has a good defense, so as long as we limit their offense which we should be able to I think we win. MartintheMopMan Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Technically not true. Just dressing. Oh. My inside source has been really lax with the info this week, I had to rely on Crimson Quarry. Hovadipo 1 Quote

MartintheMopMan Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I'm a little bummed you only have to change the graphics and final question to make this about Indiana Basketball. Maybe "Wisconsin" instead of "Ohio State" too. Quote

Gahoosierfan Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 This team really gave it its all last week. Usually after a game like that a team comes out flat. This is what really worries me. Fortunately PSU is not an explosive team so they would not be able to really run up the score if it takes a quarter or two for IU to get going. HoosierAloha and ThompsonHoosier 2 Quote
Popular Post Magnanimous Posted October 9, 2015 Popular Post Posted October 9, 2015 The game has been moved from ESPN2 to ESPN. After getting people's attention last week, we reall really need a statement win here. JaybobHoosier, ThompsonHoosier, LockdownD and 7 others 10 Quote
