Well if it's "truly" zero tolerance they should both be gone!! But Bryant will get a slap on the wrist because of who he is. Holt probably the same and this crap will continue to happen over and over again.

Holt will get a light slap on the wrist, Bryant will get nothing.

At least we have a loaded 2016 class coming in.

Unless they were ball players as well. Pretty sure in my day if it was minor in possession everybody in the vehicle got it and if someone  was 21 they got a contributing to the delequency of a minor.

I don't think its fair to say "he almost killed a guy last year". From what I read about the situation, I can't see where he was actually at fault. Yes, he had a beer, but I don't think that makes him automatically at fault. Davis made a really stupid decision.

 

Holt was under age, he was drinking alcohol and he was driving a car. Regardless of whether he hit Davis or Davis jumped in front of (or on, depending on the version you read) the car, Holt was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time. Guilty of horrible judgment at best, and potentially even worse. Of course the de facto leader (Yogi) had earlier in the year been busted, along with Stan for trying to get into a bar with fake ID ... so leading by example? Mission accomplished.

Something has to get through to these knuckleheads, to let them know that their stupid choices have consequences and that the current trend cannot continue (and yes it's a trend, this doesn't exist in a vacuum).  If this was an isolated incident I would say sure suspend him for a few games, but it's not an isolated incident so if it means coming down harsh and being the bad guy so be it.  So no one tries to put words in my mouth, did I say Holt would deserve to be kicked off the team?  No.  Would I complain if it happened to try and get the message across loud and clear?  No, it needs to be crystal clear not clear as mud.

 

Holt won't get kicked off the team he'll get a slap on the wrist (maybe), so this entire conversation is moot.

Just got home from work----and THIS?  Unbelievable---you have got to be kidding me. After I cool down I may come back and give this some more rational thought.  Right now I am sick and disappointed---especially with Holt who should be setting a better example for Bryant.  Just unbelievable.
