OFFICIAL: Ferrell returns for Senior Season

Recommended Posts

Doc, Yogi is torturing us. It was just getting nice outside and we were all coming out of seasonal depression, and now we have this cloud over our heads for another  2 weeks!

Edit: After the first few minutes of shock I can see how this isn't necessarily a bad thing. People have probably been bombarding him with the question of whether he's going or not so he/his family probably just decided to set a date by when they will make it official. At that point they'll have all the information they need to make a decision and it'll get everybody off their backs. Just my 2 cents.

Just reading the ITH article, I don't think it is as cut and clear as it would seem.  It truly seems like they are giving themselves that platform to be in front of friends and family so they hear it first.  Would I do that?  No, but that doesn't mean anything for Yogi Ferrell.  Just reading the article he is very aware of what is there if he comes back.  Not only in team, but his standing as an all-time Hoosier.  Like the 24 games away from breaking the NCAA record for consecutive games with a 3.  Degree from IU.  They realize there are a lot of smoke and mirrors from the NBA feedback.  We will see.

I wouldn't bet on that. It worked itself out for now...but I don't see any way Crean doesn't add a point guard if Yogi does leave. I think we'll see Crean get involved with some more high profile PG's this week and next like Goss. I would hope so at least.

Goss has to sit a year though, doesn't he?

No idea which way this is going to go, but I'm pretty sure there was a press conference when Zeller and Watford announced they were coming back for the 12-13 season. It wasn't at a steakhouse in Indy, it was on campus, but it was still a press conference where they took questions from the media, etc.
