2015 Transfers and Early Entries

Purdue found a point guard. No idea if he will actually be much help or not.

@GoodmanESPN: Purdue has landed transfer Johnny Hill, sources told ESPN. Will help provide a point guard option for Matt Painter.

From linked article:

"The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Hill played and went to high school at Glenbard East in suburban Chicago. He averaged 10.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals in a 2014-15 season shortened to 21 games by a wrist injury.
Hill had a 1.2 assist-to-turnover ratio in the Mavericks' up-tempo system. The homework he's done on his options is obvious when he references Texas-Arlington's national pace-of-play rank, or how he would fit into Purdue's system after spending his entire career in ball screen-heavy offenses."

Meh. He's a point guard, but doesn't seem like a major player. Pretty sure Yogi will work this guy.

ehh doesn't scare me. Octeus will be very hard to replace for them.

Does anyone know what Purdues schedule is looking like so far for next year? I think one of the reasons they were so successful last year is because they had one of the weakest schedules

Who goes if Biggie comes in?

Believe they have a former walk-on that is on scholarship right now, but an understanding that he will lose it if needed.

Apparently sulaimon to maryland. Turgeon sold out and it reflects poorly on the B1G

Sorry, I cannot agree. Young men deserve a second chance. He, should be on warning, but, a chance to get his education and play seems correct in my mind.

Young men do make mistakes and there are a lot of mistakes you deserve a second chance on. I don't believe sexual assault is one of those things. I think it says a lot that this was the first player Coach K has had to dismiss at Duke in his entire career.
