2015 Transfers and Early Entries

Recommended Posts

. These two have sort of put the whole "Calipari develops pros" fallacy to rest. The entered their frosh years at UK as projected high lotto picks the following year. I hope every recruit in the nation can now smell the stink coming from Cal's mouth.

I wonder if they went to Texas or somewhere less crowded if they would have had much higher draft outlooks.

At the same time, I feel like Cal and WWW will get in the ears of some NBA guys (or at least NBA media types) and the Harrisons will move their way up the draft boards.

EDIT: fixed typos

In the case of pUKe which may lose 5-7 players to the NBA draft, how do these early departures (not to mention previous year's early departures) impact its APR calculation?  Or do they not play a factor in the calculation whatsoever and the early declarers for the draft simply stop attending classes and there are no repercussions?

As I understand it if they leave in good academic standing that don't hurt the APR.

Just so I'm clear on this, if they successfully got at least a 'C in Crayon 101; Intro to Not Running With Scissors along with a passing grade in Proper Use of Paste there is no negative impact on pUKe's APR?

That's how I understand it. It's not that difficult to keep a high APR/GPA when most of your scholarship players are taking Intro to coloring.

Did you take Intro to Coloring? That was mad hard...it took me two weeks just to learn to peel the dang paper off those sum biotchs! I still have to figure out that POS sharpener....there's something offputting about sticking it in the back of the box like that.....

I know Cal has done it in the past, but I just don't see him replicating what he had this year. I don't know if he can get a bunch of kids to buy into his platoon system again. I know he already has a number one recruiting class but I just don't see it this year
