Streak shooter with visions of grandeur, no defense, and a "my career comes first" mindset. By the end of the year, he looked like he was running a male escort service to the hoop for the opposing team.

I don't care care who you are, what your name is, who your daddy is, or what your placement was in the voting for Mr. Basketball in the state of Indiana, that description of a basketball player shouldn't be recruited, coddled or encouraged at IU.

What stinks is that I can still watch IU style basketball, (unselfish, defense minded, smart, strong willed, great effort guys), but in order to do so, I have swallow my own vomit while seeing it practiced at Wisconsin.

If JBJ wants to transfer or quit, or go in to the witness protection program, I couldn't care less. Until we start loading our rosters with people who put IU first, and who're committed to staying more than a season, we'll keep seeing players who only want to use us as an arena for showcasing their embryonic talents for the NBA.

Since its a name thread.. for everyone that wants vijay you're gonna get a 10x weaker version of James. He is the exact same player just not nearly as good.

They are all frustrated because they were better at the beginning of the season. Better team, better players, better draft status.

I think there is that but I think the players come here with the idea that they will be playing late in the tourney. They want to compete too, probably more than we do, and when it does not happen you start to question a lot of things, coaching included.

Had I a chance to go to a few schools and the one I chose did the worst of them I would be upset and it would be easy to question things.

Is he part of that problem? Sure but remember when Cody kept choosing to drive against teams his soph year instead of shooting the midrange J? Brings up memories of JBj driving in against bigs and having his shot rejected time and time again. Now remember Crean being interviewed before half time and saying we were not driving the lane enough? Sometimes you have different ideas on how to win and you differ from the coach. We certainly do on here

Glass said that he was pleased with the direction of the program. I would love to know an exact definition of what he believes is a positive direction. It seems like everything around the program is a mess right now. Our fanbase is so divided.

Go to any board and nobody is 100% in agreement with how their team is run.  I actually believe this fan base is finally beyond the Knight firing and want the same thing.  Just how we get there is where people differ.  That is no different than any other fan base if you look around.

I've seen him play in person several games and wasn't all that impressed.  I don't think his shot is as good as JBJ's and turns the ball over a lot.  I don't think he would be any upgrade over what we currently have on the roster.

I feel like he should be way back on our priority list in that class. These next 2 classes coming are stacked. I really hope we don't have to have to fall back that far for a guard.

I've seen Vijay plenty but admittedly he was young and JB dominated the ball and game. I can't give a full evaluation. He had a good year this year. People can blossom. He is worth keeping an eye on.
