No excuse for not having a center on this team...NO EXCUSE!! Hanner is a PF! Stan is a F'ing GUARD for gods sake! Emmit is a PF! Hartman is a Wing!!

RANT NOT OVER!!!

. Crean can't coach and why in he hell don't we have a true center. Last year no shooters. Time for TC to go!

Don't worry guys! My avatar will be coming to the rescue after next year. Some say it's impossible but I have a very strong gut feeling that he's our coach within the next 2 years.

Can't wait to see how quickly the blind zealots turn on him

hopefully no Purdue students get trapped in electrical closets celebrating this monumental victory for their program

man I wish I had stuck to my recently conceived plan of not watching this team play so long as Crean is the coach. I tried but couldn't show the restraint needed to stay away from this one. Whoops. And welp.

There is nothing that would indicate the fanbase, after screaming for Stevens to coach at IU, would turn on him if he was swept by Purdue... With his body of work, I have plenty of confidence he could figure it out. If it's Stevens YR 7 and he's getting paid 3+ million and THIS is the product he is putting on the floor, then yes, the blind zealots would sour.

I would never claim to be "insider guy" but I went to Zionsville.. I know BS high school coach very well, who knows him very well... He thinks IU has a shot (if it's open) and I'll leave it at that.[/quote]Our current AD will have to go cause you know he would sabatoge any chance of firing his golden boy and his golden contract. Afterall, Crean's not part of the problem with Indiana basketball. Let's just keep blaming the students for the poor attendance. I wish Glass would ride right out of Bloomington on the surfboard they gave him at halftime. Does hawaii need a new AD?

You'd hate him from the beginning, wouldnt ya?

Actually, I know him in passing (his kid went to school w a very close relative's kid in Carmel. Very pleasant guy, like him a lot! I have zero hostility toward him- it'd be a lot easier for me to get good seats :) a rumored replacement coach is like the backup qb- the most popular person around. It just won't take long for our "entitled & all knowing" fans to turn on him too.

The only blind zealots are the ones who still think Crean is the answer to Indiana basketball. Getting swept in year 7 by your biggest rival just doesn't give many other than the ones you speak of much hope for the future. Wasn't this guard oriented offense exactly what the Dr Crean ordered? Or just not against Purdue.

There's nothing to indicate they wouldn't. Again, great guy, I respect what he did at a previous collegiate level.

No, sounds too much like an excuse honestly

Kinda hard to believe your pickin on Hartman. I didnt think he'd see the floor this year after he blew out the knee and he has proven to be valuable. A small forward trying to play the post is ridiculous and thats on Crean.

Our entitlement is so elite we still have a coach with little better than a .500 record in year 7. That woukdnt keep you employed at Northwestern let alone Indiana. Our they entitled also?
