You cannot help but to love Yogi. I love winners, and you can tell that is exactly what he is. He plays his best when the pressure is on, leads his team, and takes it all personal.

I'm not sure if it was sweat or a tear in his eyes after Crean hugged him?¿ I like the tear idea, so I'll stick with that.

ha, I wondered the same and reacted exactly the same. I'm sticking with the tear theory too. Haha

Hova brought up Yogi, in terms of being one of the greatest point guards of all time( at IU) and I believe that he is...

but the other point guard greats that have been brought up that he is compared to, have either won it all, or have been to the final four...

will Yogi stand the test of time as an all time great if his team doesn't go to the Final Four?

Yogi is at a disposition... RMK Isnt here... We will get there if he can shoot 80% from 3 & have 5+ assists :) this year. Next year, I believe (with yogi) it'll be OUR time

Have you noticed how hard and smart Yogi plays on the defensive side? Usually guarding the other teams best player who is taller and stronger. Nothing pisses me off more than to watch Yogi give 110% every defensive possession only to watch the other four guys give up any easy bucket.

IMO will go down as the most underrated/under appreciated indiana basketball player of all time.

I think that's a result of being on teams that have struggled to play top flight basketball.

If this team makes a run in the tourney, comes back as a contender and delivers next season that perception will change.

I didn't think it was possible for me to have any more respect for Yogi than I already did, but last night proved me wrong. That killer instinct, how obvious it is that he HATES to lose - I don't care if he never gets past the S16, he's already earned his place in IUBB history. An extraordinary young man.

I could see how broken up he was about missing that last shot, but it immediately reminded me of this:
