Wonder if guys are afraid to foul because of a possible launch before and possibly 4 point play. Could be wrong but something I've been wondering.

Remember when Pitt tried to foul Butler in the tournament and Howard threw the ball toward basket to get a shooting foul even though he was at the opposite basket? It is not always the best move and can backfire especially when the team is on its end of the court.

Didn't like the push off on Albrecht being called a block on Yogi either. Ended up being 2 pts for them.

I think everyone is frustrated we didn't blow them out; but the game is no longer relevant at any level. We got the win.

Happy for the W. Still playing porous, weak interior defense. Why does Yogi always get switched into the opposing teams biggest player. Cost us 8 easy points today. No excuse! Hartman as our foul shooter to end the game. Horrendous choice. Terrible refs. Stan, OMG!

Yogi, Troy, and first half Blackmon were the bomb. Hartman's hustle on offensive glass was huge down the stretch.

Exactly I think there's certain opportunities where you can do but when dude is around the 3 point line with an active dribble anything is possible.

We played our normal bad defense against a depleted Mich team and let them stick around. Officiating was suspect at the end, but I would not say we played well or the officiating kept Mich in the game.

They had their standard one guy play out of his mind when coming into assembly hall. Outside of that and our silly turnovers I thought we played a good game. Improved defense IMO.

Irvin played very well vs us as per usual with Indiana players. Donnal looked like a man amongst boys. We so sorely need a low post defender and Blackmon needs to keep working on his lateral mobility on D.

Positive side, we won and have areas for improvement.

I'll give Yogi credit. When he gets switched on to that bigger man he works his ass of trying to stop him and a lot of times does a better job than our bigs. I think he has really improved as an intelligent, determined ballplayer this season. Much better than last year. He really seems to value winning over all things.

Collin made some clutch f-throws at the end stepped up big I thought and got some clutch off rebounds. Troy owned the baseline but man it's so scary when he dribbles up the court....all in all a descent effort still need to lock in defensively.

This a big time win and I felt going into it that it was important for our confidence and momentum going forward. I now think we'll win 22 going into the B1G tourney as long as we take care of business at NW and at RU.

The officiating to close out the game was terrible.

Not a terrible game but still need to clean things up.  I wish Troy could see what his TOs do to the team.  He does a ton of good things, mostly, but those TOs.  Rebounding was good and Hartman's effort in the closing minutes were outstanding.  We responded well when they made a run.  You need that just in case you have officiating that wants to keep it close.
