If it's health related, bona fide health related, then I do hope Trey gets well soon. I am against his dad's choice of where he should play college ball, not Trey as a human being. I guess what is a little strange is all the obscurity. Cal and the docs know what's up but his teammates don't? Doesn't exactly pass the smell test.

Per Kentucky Sports Radio:

He won’t play Tuesday and I am hearing it is 50/50 whether he will play on Saturday. For the first time, Calipari called the issue “strep” and said that he thinks he is better.

That'll make five games over three weeks for strep. Uhhhhhh......no.

I have a "buddy" I use the term loosely due to his choice of team to root for, but he owns a restaurant in Lexington and he is telling me that he has developed Rheumatic fever due to a case of Strep Throat.

I have no cluse what that is or if it is true, just wanted to throw out the word around town in Lexington.

If true, he has a serious illness. It develops from strep infections. The body produces antibodies against the strep that attack his own body and can affect the brain, kidneys, and his heart. Can be fatal but if treated in a timely fashion then usually not. Most common long term affect is the destruction of heart valves that may necessitate needing valve replacement. Pray he has a full recovery of true.
