Indiana won't be Indiana until it wants to be Indiana

A tie? Yeah, we backed into what we got!

Beat OSU at home and you win it. A tie? I'm sick and tired of settling.

Yeah, in my opinion we didn't win it. And I forgot to mention. Going out in the sweet sixteen, not winning the B1G tournament, getting our ass kicked on senior night by a team that we'd just beaten on the roada few weeks earlier? We did all that with two of the top four picks in the NBA lottery that year and another kid that was an MCDAA.

But they won it outright.... Am I missing something here?

Please stop. This is so tired. They sure didn't play like top picks against Syracuse.

No you're not. I'm just totally pissed and mis-typed. Sorry. They did win the regular season but I just felt they under performed that year.

SSQ is right on this one. Our guys played awful. Including the lotto picks. Hard to really know who deserves the blame on this one. All of them, from head coach down.

BUT that loss is acceptable to me it's the results since then that bother me most. (Syracuse was a talented, good squad/underrated)

Correct me if I'm wrong

2010-2011-under-performed
2011-2012-over-performed
2012-2013-under-achieved
2013-2014-under-performed
2014-2015- TBD

Is this normal at other schools? Serious question.

Maybe they didn't but their performance to that point and since in other settings leads a person to believe they were/are pretty damn good! Didn't play like top picks? Might have had something to do with the positions they Were put in by their coach.

So tired? The one constant the last seven seasons is the head coach...and he certainly hasn't performed like he's worth 3.5 million a year!

#1 for a while until Southerland was suspended. Still irks me. He had all his papers written for him, and then came back and played in the tourney.

They better get hammered. We know they won't get anything... Sigh.

Not at the schools we say we want to compete with!

I don't know who would want to replace Crean if the pressure is on that you must win a national title within 2-3 years. Tony Bennett knew better.

you make stuff up. Where do you get national championship and 2-3 years stuff. Helps your agenda though

Indiana stopped being indiana after they fired Knight. They have been nothing but timid and scared ever since. I've honestly never seen a school so scared, timid and hesitant before. It's like they are still in the fog of Knights firing.

Mike Davis, Kelvin Sampson and Tom Crean were puny, lazy hires.

Indiana won't be indiana again until they stop messing around and do what Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama football did and Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina Basketball did.

Crean was an outstanding hire. C'mon now. He did what he was brought here to do. I just feel he may not be the guy to lead the program going forward that's all.

This is the question that no one has the answer to, but some pretend to know. It's funny to me because he has demonstrated the ability to achieve everything we all want.

He came in here and after getting through the fat, had a title level team by year 5. He can't do it again?
