#23 IU defeats #13 Maryland 89-70 post game thread

Troy could be a first rounder this year but it all comes down to whether he thinks he is lottery material if he comes out after next year. If he thinks next year means lottery than he should stay no doubt

If Vic is truly mentoring him like has been posted then Vic can tell him about the benefits of coming back for his junior season to improve his game

Crean is an idiot.  If the Terps lose to a Crean coached team they need to pull all the scholarships and fire the staff.

--TwinDegrees2 (Purdue fan) on TerrapinSportsReport message board. He was whining about calls as IU built the lead to 20+.

Like the over the back on Yogi...or the self trip and fall down called on Hoetzel? What a joke.

Hartman has truly proven that he is worthy of being an indiana player and he is becoming my favorite quickly. He is everything that i would ever want in a basketball player and then some.

Said that when I saw him at Derby Classic...him and Martin from LSU were my favorites of that game.

Or the chicken wing by Dez Wells and the shoving the defender out of bounds on back to back offensive possesions? Or the phantom and one call on hartman when the replay showed literally no physical contact whatsoever? Crean wasn't the only one complaining. Man, I hope we crush those pussies in W. Laf.

We are obviously a better team without Hanner. Who could have believed that?

We really, really, really have to be max effort every time out now. We have just painted bullseyes on our backs (and hallelujah that we've gotten to that point). This team has had a couple of letdowns, and I'd hate to see one show up in the next couple of games. And there will be nights that everything we throw up at the basket doesn't go in -- but as has been mentioned elsewhere, our defense deserves a lot of credit for bottling up some really top-rated players. Not sure if it was Big Ten Finale or ESPN-U where one announcer said Maryland had three potential all-B1G candidates.
