I am somewhat new to this whole IU B-Ball thing as my daughter is only a sophomore, so I have only followed closely for the past couple of years - I am not from.Indiana (Buffalo, NY) - but that crowd at Assembly Hall last night was insane, right from the start when the tip-off went out of bounds, I felt it was going to be a special night

Hartman has truly proven that he is worthy of being an indiana player and he is becoming my favorite quickly. He is everything that i would ever want in a basketball player and then some.

Said that when I saw him at Derby Classic...him and Martin from LSU were my favorites of that game.

Lol I haven't had that much fun watching the Hoosiers completely dismantle a team like that since the UNC game a couple years ago. Wow that was something special.

Really proud of this team. They played lights out and overcame some of the worst officiating I've EVER seen. It's games like last night that reinforce my suspicion that refs are as crooked as a politician.

Our start to the second half was absolutely huge. The guys came out focused and bumped the lead up to nine I think and Maryland was pretty much done after that. A very, very good Maryland team. Great win.

The ref who called the foul on Yogi for blocking out the Maryland big should IMMEDIATELY BE FIRED! He clearly has no knowledge of the game of basketball as that was a textbook blockout. My fourth grader knows better.

We are obviously a better team without Hanner. Who could have believed that?

 

We really, really, really have to be max effort every time out now. We have just painted bullseyes on our backs (and hallelujah that we've gotten to that point). This team has had a couple of letdowns, and I'd hate to see one show up in the next couple of games. And there will be nights that everything we throw up at the basket doesn't go in -- but as has been mentioned elsewhere, our defense deserves a lot of credit for bottling up some really top-rated players. Not sure if it was Big Ten Finale or ESPN-U where one announcer said Maryland had three potential all-B1G candidates.
