I'm really proud of the effort Hanner brought to the game tonight. I was glad to see his 12 points, but I'm more pleased with the 10 rebounds. He showed glimpses of the physicality down low that this team desperately needs. Hope he keeps improving.

Hanner Mosquera-Perea hands down. He played BIG. Some of those rebounds weren't just casual rebounds either, they were aggressive high pointed rebounds! Loved what I saw from him yesterday.

Can't disagree with all the picks for Hanner who has been playing well lately.

 

But---my pick is RoJo---and the biggest reason is that it was his first game on the road in the Big Ten as a freshman and he showed no fear and scored and played well.

 

That was a great performance for a freshman in his first true road game!

Loved the toughness and the stare-down and exchange with Miles that the team seemed to rally around and get inspired by-----reminded me of how IU used to respond to Knight when he got fired up in big games.
