What is your drink of choice during IU games...?
I have tried many a different option but it seems we always win when I choose Vodka & 7up.... Gonna have to incorporate that into my game day ritual. .

Olivia and I were just talking about this! My drink of choice for a standard game (until they stop carrying it at least) is Nankasi Total Domination. Delicious IPA, great hopbody, good finish. It's a pretty perfect casual drinking beer And only 6.7% so you can drink it all game and not be wasted. It reminds me of Bell's Two Hearted but might not be quite as good. But, whatever, it's a real good beer and the only 24 pack I can get at Costco. Plus, $27 for the 24 pack!

I have stacks and stacks in my garage next to the Rouge Dead Guy Ale, not as hoppy, but my lucky beer for Niners games.

If the game is going poorly I'll switch to burbon at some point. I'm rotating between choices at the moment, I can't decide what I want to stick with. The small barrel Wild Turkey is one of my faves though.

If I'm going to a game at Assembly Hall, I do pocket booze of either a cup of Wild Turkey 101 or Maker's depending on what's available. Wild Turkey 101 is awesome, especially for pocket booze. But, Maker's was at Sam's when I was in Bloomington, so I usually ended up with that.

I mean usually I'm just a straight Budweiser guy.. But the Vodka and 7up has been lucky this season.... Never heard of ninkasi

Its pretty local to the Northwest. Brewed in Eugene, Oregon. There is a huge beer culture here so I feel bad about not trying everything I can, but I like the price and not having to run to the store very often too much.

No argument here. I don't think I'll dig into any during a game though. We will have an off shooting night and Hova will end up half naked crying in a 24-hour laundromat.


Haha I hear you on that. I tone back on real serious games cuz I get too zoned in. UNC games are a blast withy buddies.

After digging a little, I found that Simon Sothras (one of the Ninkasi founders/brewers) just became head brewer of Scarlet Lane Brewing in McCordsville :) I'm a craft beer junkie. Double IPA is my favorite, but also love the big stouts. Stone brewing and Founder's are my go to (plus my own home brew). I definitely love the bourbons as well. I also love shochu, the Japanese spirit, with water and lime. It's a great thing my sister-in-law is a rep for a liquor company :)

I go over to my neighbors and he is always trying to impress me with some off wall IPA that he found at a Bed 'n Breakfast  in Bathwater, Indiana.  Not for me.

 

I am more of a Stella man.  Give me the star anytime and I won't refuse it.
