Not sure he is ready..for that yet

Key word here. YET! But he eventually will be. HMP had a golden opportunity. Maybe this will make him work harder. Good competition within the team is always a good thing, makes the next guy better. I thought Holt in General looked my comfortable/fluid. IMO, just a matter of time

Is it just me or has RoJo looked like a better point guard than Yogi so far? Johnson keeps his head up and seems to find the open man at a much higher clip than Yogi. His passes are crisper/more accurate than Yogi's as well.

And what is the deal with Troy? I know he had some nice contributions but he also had some bad turnovers, wild shots, and out of control drives. I don't think he was a net positive on the court last night.

I think Troy is the type of player that would be good in certain situations to energize the floor and if you need quick scoring. It just physically pains me when he gets the ball on the break because you know hes going up with it. And in half court he plays extremely selfishly/awkwardly. Its not as if he is not talented, he is, and he does certain things well. But he needs a lot more work. Maybe next year he will be ready to start.

Yogi is somewhat cursed by his height in my opinion as he plays a scoring guard's style but in the body of a point guard. He has a great ability to do flashy things with the ball and take over getting himself open. But in terms of running a half court offense, I think I would prefer Rojo

Emmitt, but like everyone else, I have Collin in close second.

My rule of thumb this year is that it's going to be very hard for me to vote against the big man if he has a stat line of 12-5-2 or better. It would take another guy completely dominating to override that (hence the reason Hanner got my MVP vote in 2 or 3 of our first few games this season), because we are going to need one of those two things to happen in a lot of games if we are going to do much this year.

Holt plays bigger than his listed size. I really like how he sits down in the lane to prevent giving up space on defense. Thats a sight for sore eyes. As far as Hartman goes, I really wish he could have gotten some of Etherington's minutes last year...considering that Austins totals are on par at Butler as they were here...would have liked to have seen Hartman more. Dude sells out on the boards and on defense. Glad hes going to be a difference maker. I do hope that Hartman or Holt becomes the fan favorite. This fanbase needs a hustle guy to be the glue.
