Going to be a long season

Recommended Posts

the thing about the B1G, having 14 teams...and the scheduling, is that the worst team doesn't always finish last...

so it's very possible with IU's schedule strength, in conference, to finish dead last...

Northwestern, Penn State and Rutgers will 100% finish below Indiana. Beyond that... I'm not sure.

The shooters on this team are good enough to upset anyone on any night. Unfortunately, they are just as likely (if not more so) to get upset like they did tonight.

Long season, indeed.

Get a grip----we are not going to be last in the Big Ten!

We are all disappointed but this is not the first time and it won't be the last that we ---or other Big Ten schools--- get upset by a lesser school (EWU is pretty good by the way).

We look like a middle of the pack team to me---and we will soon see if we improve and go up ---or don't and fall further.

Based on what I have seen so far---we are nowhere close to Penn State or Rutgers to name a few.

I will say that I scoffed at the thought of IU being 9th or 10th in the conference when that was predicted---but we are playing RIGHT NOW---like that may be a real possibility.  I hope we get that turned around.

As disappointing as it is----one loss is not the end of the world Hoosier Nation.

I will always back the Hoosiers. I am just very disappointed in how this program is going down hill. It used to be one of the elite now we can't even make to the NIT . With no big men to speak of IU will get dominated in the B1G TEN. Hanner is not a D1 starter he is at best a back up. I just want to see the program respected again that is all.
We shouldn't get beat by teams from the BIG SKY conference.
Always a Hoosier

No worries, we all get heated after a loss. A lot of posters just don't like seeing threads like this after a loss. It's all good, there's no excuse losing to Eastern Washington. In year one or two of the Crean Era, this type of loss in acceptable, but not now. It does stink to see where IU is at.

It will change though, just have to give it another year........ hopefully lol.

I agree with most of what you say but when did we start defining ourselves by statements such as...we're not as bad as Penn State or Rutgers? Good help us!
