CampHoosier Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Wow. How many people up top will it take to read this before Crean is gone? Surely they're looking at the fan boards...right? Never Daunted 1 Quote

CampHoosier Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I meant that specific quote. I thought we were both on the same level of sarcasm. Now I see what you are saying. Yes, I agree. If a parent says that on the record, people have to take notice. ESPECIALLY the employers of the staff. 8bucks 1 Quote

Yeah haha I'm saying if parents basically aren't letting their kids come here because of the culture of the program, the head honcho won't be around long. Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Academic stuff can be put aside over drugs/alcohol to parents. If they feel as if their kid can get an easy A or be around people who smoke and drink, they'll take the former Academics aren't the only thing Cuse is under investigation for: http://www.syracuse.com/orangesports/index.ssf/2014/10/syracuse_ncaa_investigation_hearing_statement_boeheim_gross.html http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/11752984/syracuse-university-men-basketball-football-programs-ncaa-investigation They had also "failed to adhere to their drug and alcohol policy" All I was saying was that if our issues turned off the Bryants, it's a good thing they aren't signing till spring when the Syracuse situation becomes more transparent. MartintheMopMan Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 If there is one thing this team is number 1 in the country at, it's making it so that it doesn't just rain, it pours. This kills us. Are we in the top running for any other four or five star bigs for next year? And if not, are we just looking at a repeat of this year? Unless one of our projects really comes along, I don't see what else could happen. As far as I'm concerned, not having a big in this class is a death sentence to the year and shows that the one thing we all backed Crean in (recruiting) is no longer even a skill. Unbelievable. The bright side? He isn't deciding until spring. If Glass isn't completely retarded, there is machinery working in the background to separate Crean from the school and it's plausible that whatever coach is coming in still has a shot to convince mom the program will be better. I mean. If the sunshine is pumping at maximum capacity. Quote

If we're honestly still one of his two final teams it's either: 1, Both programs are in trouble, and maybe we can be the best of the worst; 2. Mom doesn't actually care and she's just into the attention; OR 3. They know something the rest of us don't about the staff next year. I can't imagine another reason at this point. Quote
