Walking Boot of Doom Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 My bad. He did cancel a later visit which was what I was thinking about. Hoosier hysteria. Miller'sTheMan Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 If that paragraph about what he was looking for is anything to go by, he should come here! We can offer him that, and if we can get everyone to return which seems like a very good chance at this point, I believe with him we can have another realistic shot at banner #6. bnkepner 1 Quote

bnkepner Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 There is a snippet from an interview with Bryant where it says that Indiana and Missouri are his top two, but still considering Kentucky. Its going to be interesting with him. Especially since it seems like every report we are hearing has different schools being the most interested, etc.The Advocate Messenger: Center Thomas Bryant insists he has interest in UK despite what mother says Indiana and Missouri, where former Huntington Prep coach Rob Fulford is now an assistant coach, are his other top schools even though he insists there is no leader. "I have not heard from others, just basically them," he said of his top four schools. "Me and Rob had a great relationship when he was here last year. Me and him always got along," Bryant said. Still, his mother wants him to go to Syracuse. "Me and my mom always talk about that and keep that between us," he said. "The decision is mine." With her approval? "Sure," he said. Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 This is just like when Announcers give you "facts" about games or rivalries. "You know, the Hoosiers have never lost to Purdue in the month of January when Tom Crean wears a blue tie and they make 12 or more threes" OK---I have to ask----what is the deal with Crean's blue shirts and blue ties that he wears during the games? Joani---get him some IU Crimson! Unless-----Bryant and Maker like blue----then carry on! IUsafety 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 If true---- I don't like hearing about multiple unofficial visits to UK by Bryant. But---- we have to keep recruiting---it's never over until it's over! We pull in a stud big and we are off to the races! Quote
TomPritchard25 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I imagine he'$ getting help to attend UK'$ games, unofficially. I wonder if it's Thomas Bryant or Thoma$ bryant? Hutch89, HoosierHoops1 and rebelhoosier848891 3 Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I wonder if it's Thomas Bryant or Thoma$ bryant? Kid seems to have a good head on his shoulders and a mom who just wants him to be somewhere that will build his character as well. I don't know that he'd jump at improper benefits, or that his mom would be alright with it, based on their previous quotes. bnkepner 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Let's hope Bryant is on the up and up! I keep checking this thread waiting for a shred of good news! Still waiting. Quote
bnkepner Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Well I think the good news is that he still considers us one of his top two no matter what other schools are involved lillurk, IUsafety, HoosierHoops1 and 2 others 5 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I would feel better with news of a surprise unofficial visit to IU in the next few weeks. Quote
bleedhoosier Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I'm with reb.. shouldn't we be getting some visits like UK is? GloryDays 1 Quote
HoosierTrav Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I think its hilarious that his mother is "worried" about drugs and wants his son to attend Syracuse. She thinks that Indiana lied about Drug use? Has Boeheim told her that the NCAA is currently investigating his program for RAMPANT drug use and the lack of discipline for players who have failed MORE THAN 4 DRUG TESTS IN A SINGLE SEASON? Has she even looked at APR scores between the 2? Not only is her son going to be exposed to a forest of chronic at Syracuse, he's also not going to be forced to learn anything other than a 2-3 zone. bleedhoosier, IUsafety, Happydaze and 1 other 4 Quote
chitown hoosier Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 She just probably wants him close to home like most mothers do. in the end it will be his decision. If he is a smart kid he will see he benefits of playing for IU. Happydaze, bnkepner and WayneFleekHoosier 3 Quote

drewheck Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 . It would be nice. Quite frankly, Lexington is close to Huntington only two hours on I-64. Don't read to much into those visits.exactly what I was thinking Napleshoosier 1 Quote
