Everywhere with his poor planning. I used to talk quite a bit with Janitorinthegym when they had inside info. He sent managers on 2 hour drives to get certain balls. Other silly stuff like this. Cupcake scheduling and pay games supreme. Promotional things too. Recruiting inefficiency probably takes the cake though.

I very much have a clue on this. It's silly to hinder your money maker to finance the things you need your money maker to prop up. 
Football and basketball facilities need to come first so they can generate more revenue for the others. 
You finance things that are going to generate revenue before you finance things that are simply a cost. 

You are absolutely right! Spend that money on that money maker first, then go from there. Spending it to make it, right ?

Was anyone disagreeing with that argument? The only point I was making was that not only did pretty much every sport not have a functioning locker room, but basketball had a million other issues to get to before even thinking about a complete locker room redo. Assembly Hall was literally falling apart. Same story with football. The football locker room is cramped and probably should’ve been expanded about 10 years ago, but other things were more important just to get the complex looking decent. Much of this should’ve been done in about 2004 or 2005.

It does look good. Very nice. Makes us competitive with the big dogs, especially if those are digital displays above each locker. It also appears there will be some form of lounge in the renovation which will be quite welcome.

If everyone thinks locker room renovations are what is finally making us competitive and finally justification that the guys in charge know what they are doing... have you not been watching two of the largest renovation projects in school history with Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium?! Glad locker rooms are being done. Nice finishing touch. Nothing compared to what’s already been done and what is currently underway.

That is honestly his beef with me. If I say something stupid I fully expect to be called out and have been. Nobody is 100% correct, but I hate when people whine about it. His post I called him out on was a whining post in the Langford thread about no new news in 6 months. His post was looking for attention. He got it and has whined about it ever since. But since he doesn’t like my viewpoint I am now a Crean fan. Completely annoying approach on a message board.

When someone makes a claim that is absolutely false and then moves the goal post because he is called out, should be called out. It has nothing to do with being a supporter of a certain coach or player or not. I expect to be called out if I am make statement not factually accurate.

Not even close pal, 35. My fave team to this day is still was Alan Henderson’s sophomore season (if my memory is correct) 92-93. Lost that season in the elite 8 to Rex Walters and Kansas. That was a good team and Calbert is still my favorite Indiana player.

I simply asked about crean bc I wasn’t sure if you were defending him bc you were a fan? Or simply calling someone out? That is all

Moving the goal post is the quickest way to admit defeat. Clarifying an original statement and admitting you were off basis is the easiest way to prevent looking like a jackass.
