I agree 100%. It used to be the mods would instigate and/or increase tensions. Now they keep a good handle on things.

I agree to a degree. Circumstances of the basketball team make a difference. I know you guys see it as black and white and that's cool. But when we were at HSN we were the number 1 team in the country. Board moral is just different versus that and two teams that massively underachieved out of 3 since we got here. Sorry you guys seen what I said as a personal attack. It is what it is. Just so you all know we didn't search out this situation. We were asked to come here with how we modded. When we got here we had less than 20 posters. For as much as some of you ***** about what we did I think we laid an ok foundation. I know it's the cool thing to do Dalton, but how were discussions going before we got here? How many people did you guys talk to. Go back to trashing what was different. Most of you that followed from HSN or 247 thank you. This is why we split off. To get away from the 247 of the world. We wanted a place similar to HSN.

I'm one of them few who have witnessed the before and after and it's night and day different. I wasn't being an @$$ but after what you edited in I guess I will be. Let's be honest you all left HSN or whatever it was called and then left here because things were so bad. Fact of the matter is that there is only one common denominator in both of those situations and that was the mod squad. I've went back through numerous pm's between former mods and banned members and honestly it's a shame how many people were banned for basically disagreeing. I was a part of that group too so it falls on me too but let's not play the innocent victim role and pretend like things are so much worse without the old mod team.

Btw I edited to add to it. Also you have no clue about HSN. We were asked to come from Jason. You were not a mod when we first came. We didn't want to be salespeople for a site and discredit what Pap and CCG did. Get your facts straight on that. They didn't want CCG posting scoops before them. Plus the things CCG asked for was not happening. Sorry we tried standing up for all the work CCG did. You have zero clue what you are talking about on that one. As for here, Jaybob and Natty were done. You were about there too so don't play innocent. You followed them too for a very short time. Only difference is I didn't come back here and be a mod. Would you like me to post PM asking to stay on as a mod? It wasn't contentious at all but I love your revisionist history.

Hoosier Sports Nation. Before 247 became HSN we had our own site and 80% of the people here followed us from there. That is why I love being trashed for what we did. When we came to this site there were 2 people who posted in months. Dalton and 41. I absolutely loved working with Dalton. Him and I have the same personality and he is just a funny dude, but I am not cool with these alternative facts of this all.

When we came to this site there were 2 people who posted in months. Dalton and 41. I absolutely loved working with Dalton. You guys were here long before I ever joined. I think you have me confused with someone else. These aren't alternative facts. You have your view on what happened and I have mine. Two different perspectives and there isn't anything wrong with that. But I was about done that's 100% true and I even left then I got away from the group think and looked at both sides of the argument and made my choice from there.

 

I have no issues with you either, you're still one of my favorites but I'm going to defend the current guys 100%.

I am not trashing the current mods. I said I preferred HSN. There are many things that go into that beyond Mods. We had the number 1 team in the country. It's amazing what that does for a board.

 

Edit: I would expect you to stand up for your current mods. That is why Josh doesn't like me cause I did the same for you after that PM thread I still have of him bitching about you. [emoji6]

I think it was like 3 or 4 years ago in the fall. Yes last August when 5 of us stepped down and 1 came back. Bad seasons put a lot of stress on mods. I give them props for doing it.

With both sides constantly sending PM's about the other side. I have been a mod for 3 IU coaches and nobody has never been as divisive as Crean.

Somewhat offtopic but 247 did come up. Is anybody else not able to access Indiana's page on there? I figured the HSN forum there had a chance of going away with the Scout merger, which it appears happened. However, I can't even access anything related to Indiana (non forum). Can't look at commitment lists, Crystal Ball predictions, etc. Is anyone else having this problem?
