The meaning of Teddy Roosevelt's quote:

He is speaking about those who criticize a person's work or practice, but the critics do not know the path. Not even victory or defeat have they tasted. In other words, who are they to criticize a man who goes through much hardship and effort, one that doesn't talk the talk, but walk the walk.

People know what the quote means and that it is meant for young men and women that deserve to be compared in the quote. A rich punk college kid that likes to trip people isn't one of them

Yup. Got it; it's a very famous quote, one that is probably not best applied to a basketball player who trips people. Lots of people make larger sacrifices, and lots of basketball players make similar sacrifices without tripping opponents.

You wanna talk about a basketball player that Teddy Roosevelt would ride with? Try this one instead:

Sorry. I'm crying foul on this. Are we supposed to feel sorry for Grayson based on this? We all have hardships. When I don't get my way I guess it's ok to lash out. Heck let's stick with college athletes, pretty sure they all have hardships, but I don't see a bunch of them being outright brats.

I get what Teddy was trying to say, I just don't think he meant it was ok to be a (fill in your favorite Grayson Allen descriptor here) if things don't work in your favor.

If you're the Duke basketball team you have to watch this video so many times that the song and the meaning are so ingrained in your head that it makes you say MJ is right.

I think you're making this out to be a bigger deal than it is...It's not about a big social issue or injustice; it's simply about ONE player that chooses to be an immature brat.

Why would K agree to go on the show if he planned on being a complete jerk when faced with logical, respectfully posed questions?

K just made a complete horse's ass out of himself in this clip. He's getting a little RMK-ish.

Geez, K just keeps doubling down on his horrendous handling of all this. Really, why is he SOOOO defensive about this? It seems pretty simple, yet K keeps making it really difficult.

Except I can't see RMK tolerating this. He could be disrespectful but his players couldn't.
