Mid major slate tonight.  They need to move some of these Tuesday matchups to Thursday to even it out.

Most of the conundrum is that in the power conferences, Thursday is Ladies night, especially for TV space.

Heard men’s slate is intentionally weak on Thursday to accommodate the women’s game which puts big games on Thrs.

I’m still watching IU Indy/N Kentucky and the other small conference games tonight but just wish there was some high major games on as well.

Whatever conference decides to buck that dumb trend will see their tv money go up. I saw an Alabama AD breakdown and women’s basketball was easily their biggest money loser.

Princeton transfer Caden Pierce, former Ivy POY who is sitting out this year to preserve eligibility while finishing his degree, commits to Purdue. Had been getting recruited by Duke and UConn, so sort of surprising. His brother plays wide receiver for the Colts. Nice player, will be curious to see how he does in the Big Ten

Guessing being close to Alec was a factor? I wonder if IU was a consideration at all?

I don't think we were... he took visits to PU, UConn, Duke, Louisville and Gonzaga. He is originally from Glen Ellyn Illinois so geography makes sense. IMO NIL payday was probably the biggest factor here. Very curious what he's getting money wise.

I think he will be a solid player and great leader in the locker room.
