I have heard South Carolina's Lamont Paris mentioned as a potential candidate.  Turned two programs (Chattanooga and now South Carolina) around quickly.  Has Big Ten ties as he was an assistant at Wisconsin from 2010-2017.  Midwest ties, grew up and played college ball in Ohio.

Rumor has it that it will be Glen Rice...he wants to make Michigan good again.

He was in the NBA so even without any college experience he should be really good.  : )
