I think Maryland is the only one that can match them in pure talent but Holtman > Turg. O$U has been pretty impressive this season.

Where did this come from? I’ve seen this mentioned on this forum but nowhere else. Is this actually true or just something one poster said on here and everyone took it as gospel?

There is no escaping the fact that there were three coaches available in the area in 2017, all three changed jobs, and two of them have elite, top 10 teams. 

That is a fact. We’ve pinpointed that.

But a fact, while a true and proven statement, is just that. Without context its meaning is limited.

It all came from Brian Snow. He mentioned about the fans and pressure at IU. Snow hates IU, so, take it fwiw. OSU has pressure as well. It’s a big time program.

Archie is handcuffed in ways that coaches at Ohio State and (particularly) Louisville aren't. It's not an excuse, but still something to keep in mind when comparing the three.
