Uspshoosier Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Georgia Tech also gets four years probation, fine of 2% of the basketball budget, loss of one scholarship for four years, eight week ban on unofficial visits and recruiting communications, reduction of three official visits, loss of 19 recruiting days. If so, I would have to think this is what we will be seeing with a lot of schools outside of Louisville, Zona, and LSU. Will be interesting to follow. Edit - Damn strippers! But seriously folks. One of the other parts of the Ga Tech sanctions is: "A vacation of records in which the men’s basketball student-athletes competed while ineligible. The university must provide a written report containing the contests impacted to the NCAA media coordination and statistics staff within 14 days of the public decision release." Maybe we won that 2017 NIT game after all. thebigweave, ElectricBoogaloo, cchuntsman and 10 others 9 4 Quote

It would be impossible to justify without completely killing any semblance of usefulness the NCAA has if they went easy on everyone after that. There is no way do I think Kansas gets the brunt of it. But we may see a couple of coaches getting a full season ban. On top of other sanctions. I still think Kansas gets a postseason ban. But man what will UL get if that’s the case? Are we going to see another NCAA president pass out while handing out a penalty?Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Stuhoo 1 Quote
Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Louisville should get the death penalty and Zona and KU should be getting the hammer just like GT if not worse. NCAA needs to send a message that the BS won’t be tolerated. If they rollover, the NCAA is done for. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Deserthoozier and MikeRoberts 2 Quote
