Surprised by Austin Peay. I'm not sure how they win games. They start 4 dudes that are 6-2 and a 6-8 guy. Okay another 6-3 and 6-8 guy in their Top 7. Definitely one of the smallest teams.

Duke was lucky to win last time when they played Wake but were playing at Wake.

in the other quarterfinal games 

Jacksonville/E Kentucky is a 1 pt game with 10 min to go 

Pat Chambers FGCU is in battle with Queens. Queens up 3 with 11 min to go

Acc is a  Mid major league this year.   Acc only has 3 teams that are locks to make the tourney.  Duke, Clemson and Louisville

Def a real down year for the ACC but hard to ignore beating Illinois by 43 in late Feb and are still playing without Maliq Brown

The league is a mid major league however Duke is the second best team in the country

Since the ACC only has 3 good teams Duke has 0 shot at being the number 1 overall seed this year even with beating Auburn at home.   Duke is 6-3 in Q1 games this year.  Auburn is 16-2 in Q1 games.    The league being so bad hurt Duke in that  area however they are going to be #2 overall 1 seed so they will be on opposite sides of Auburn

I think them being 2nd overall is an acknowledgment of the talent on their team. They def do not deserve #1 overall in light of what Auburn has put together this season. Just don’t have the volume of Q1 wins in the ACC and when they started in November the freshmen played like freshmen, so lost games late to UK and KU — both of whom I think they’d beat pretty easily now.

I watched his Wright State teams here in Dayton.  Just 5 miles from my house in the missed approach to WPAFB.

Pass on Brownell.

Now, Archie Miller was great.

Obviously, stuff like that does not translate into the BIG TIME.

And I questioned Archie's hire...but was hopeful

I did not question Tom Crean's hire...I was against it.

I did not understand Woodson's hire.

Mike Davis was so wrong.

Sampson was interesting.  But IU blew it by not providing oversight.  And Sampson could not put the cell phone down.  Sad.

Indiana had to really try to skewer IU men's basketball brand.  They should be proud.  Herbert, your actions are still perceived as not in the interests of Indiana University.

He has the state of Indiana connection so by default he is going to have people push for him.   Beat Duke and went to the Elite 8 last year would be the argument and still has this tourney to prove what he can do.    Not on my list however he will be on some
