Everybody said the opposite last year---but there is something to be said for developing bigs over time.

The best of both worlds is to get the--- 1 and dones ---and develop other bigs at the same time----easier said than done.

I was surprised to see that game that close. Detroit Mercy stayed with 4-6 points most of the 2nd half.

Michigan had the same problem we do. No inside presence. They live and die by the jump shot as well. Difference between them and us is that we have a lot more capable 3 pt shooters. I can see us beating them this year.

We always seem to play UM well. For as much as I've criticized Crean he always has a good game plan for them.

I grew up in Scottsburg in the 80's and 90's and even back then the UK fans were obnoxious. It's only gotten worse. The worst part is now I live in Lexington, KY. It is a terrible place to live. They always tell me how they are going to "convert" me and invite me to games at corRuppt arena haha. So dumb. I will always be a HOOSIER. No matter where I live or who doesn't like it!

Iowa lost it with that turnover. But, 'cuse looks terrible. Even if they manage to close this. They're out of the rankings and they're going to have a LONG season.

Stanford smashing UNLV 27-8 early.

Goodluck made an awful decision IMO. I also think UNLV is one of the many dirty recruiting schools. Glad to see them struggle.

42-18 Stanford now. Lol. Three 5 stars.

Also UK only up 5 at Home against Boston U. 33-28. Kansas totally stunk that game, made UK look like superheroes.

40-35 UK over Boston U at half. Just saying. Are they playing down? Maybe but with the limited minutes, there's no excuse to play down. Those guys need to prove themselves every minute on the floor.

Kansas is ranked way too high. They only beat Santa Barbara by 10 and it was close throughout. Plus Kansas always craps the bed against UK. When UK won it all a few years ago they beat Kansas twice and the Jayhawks didn't put up much resistance either time. We looked better in both games against them.

They were down by 5 at half to Buffalo. They really struggled against there two-three zone. Is Boston in a two-three?
