Took me 3 weeks to return to full activity. 

I doubt he could play against us. If so probably be off a bit

Yep I was watching it. Seemed like an ACL maybe at first but he didn’t walk off with to much of a limp. Might have scared him more than anything but we will see as he went right back to the locker room with only a few minutes left in the game.

Knee definitely buckled on a baseline drive. I despise U of No Classes as much as the next person but hate to see this for any kid. Hope he’s okay and it’s just a minor tweak or scare.

Maybe he is better then Big shot Rob or turns out better then Rob but his former team started playing loads better this year after he left. A hall of Fame coach took a shot at him and it’s hard to ignore that Georgetown became better when Ball Hog Akinjo left

Yeah, and he doesn’t shoot it at a good percentage.

I’m ready for Archie to win on and off the court. This isn’t related to Akinjo, it’s just all so frustrating.

Robbie Hummel ranked B1G teams so far the other day. Put us a 11. Id love to call him a Purdue homer and say we’ll prove him wrong.
But my trust in this team, coach, university is too low to expect anything else.

Some of those recruiting misses are coming back to bite Archie like they normally do.

I wanted to get away from feeling we need the best players to win but I’m getting that feeling that Archie is similar to Crean that he needs the best players to win big. We aren’t turning fair rated players into stars.

Hard to be optimistic right now and it isn’t because of the Arkansas loss it’s how we have looked on the court all season despite the W/L. Next year’s recruiting class would be fine if guys were separating and becoming stars. Not happening. Just a bunch for dudes. They play harder than Crean teams but act like they don’t know how to put the ball in the bucket.

I tend to agree.

But why a grind?

Named coach
Top 10 fan base
Top 10 money
Recruiting hotbed
Everything needed to be a top 10 team.

Oh wait, our coach is restricted with recruiting, and we have to try to be a top team while recruiting like a mid ranked team? That’s why it’s a grind?

Or is Archie not as good as Tony Bennett, Chris Beard, Chris Mack, Jay Wright, Mark Few?

Whats missing?

Memphis is a nationally relevant team out of the abyss in 1 year. We could be if we actually wanted to be.

But do we? Or do we want to grind forever?
