Agree those games can be tough but we're talking about a really, really bad E. Illinois team on your home court. Maybe it was the winter storm and the fans not being able to attend? Yeah I apologized earlier. I thought finals week was the same as the game before Christmas break. Chalk it up to college basketball. It’s why we love it so much. A team like Iowa can lose on their home court to a team like eastern Illinois and also beat a team like Iowa St on their home court just a couple weeks earlier. Quote

We are also talking about an administration that made an intentional decision to de-emphasize the basketball program after Coach Knight had become the face of Indiana University. IU made hiring decisions based things that were not related to coaching ability. Maybe the admin is waking up, maybe not. But we are currently very far behind because of what happened when CBK was fired. I don't know if CMW is the answer, but at least he understands what IU used to be. No need to apologize, different perspectives and expectations. We're sometimes the prettiest girl in the bar for those minor league players looking to bust out of a slump. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Only thing they can do is stop watching and cut that part of their life out or they buckle up and ride it out. I’ve told my wife many times that I’m done with investing the energy I have for IU basketball and I’m done…….that was 2 days ago. See you all on Sunday after the game. Never in the game chat though I just wonder what those who criticize people for accepting mediocrity has actually done themselves to try to change things. 1) Stop watching every game and make IU games rating so low they start to lose money. That will show them. 2) Don't pay for tickets so the lose money on tickets, concessions and parking that will show them. 3) Stop all social media, podcast and message boards about IU sports to show them we are fed up. 4) Stop buying merchant so they lose money, that will show them. Now that they lose all of this money they won't have the money for hiring top coaches and won't be able to update facilities. No coaches or players will want to come and play with no fan support, that will show them. Quote

Well if the AD got his way and hired Beilein instead of the president wanting Sampson we wouldn't be in this situation. Beilein would have been great at IU cthomas 1 Quote
Uspshoosier Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Looks like Zona is going to lose to Washington St at home. College basketball is awesome. They almost got ucla at home earlier and have already beat usc. Big win for them Quote
Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Kansas State tied with Baylor at the half. Would be huge for them. Would make 8 straight for them. 3 straight against West Virginia, AT Texas and possibly Baylor. Quote

I don't watch nearly as much as you, but I would say the Big East. Hard to say. Some of these refs do multiple conferences. It’s crazy to watch a ref in a conference game ref a completely different way in the other. But yeah I would say Big East and Big 12 for me Ryno6284 and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

Delaware up 1 with 9:30 to go. cbssports network A former student of mine (Aleks Novakovich) plays at Delaware. Took a long route to get there.....was only 17 when he graduated and had no D1 offers, went to a prep school for a year and signed with Evansville. Evansville fired their coach after he signed so he reopened his recruitment and ended up at Delaware. Redshirted in 2018-9, was a rotational player in 2019-20 before suffering leg issues the second half of the year. In 2020-21 worked himself into the starting lineup before being sidelined the rest of the year (except for one game at the end of the year). Sat out all 2021-22 with an injury and the first fifteen games this season. Played in his first game in twenty-two mnths today, getting in for 5 minutes in the Blue Hens 75-64 loss to Charleston. Great kid, wish he hadn't been subjected to the injuries but was able to get his undergrad and grad degrees with it. Uspshoosier 1 Quote
