LIHoosier Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 I'd like conferences to only include the top 8 for conference tournaments. Its weird that other sports have a cutoff but basketball for some reason essentially gives out competition trophies for 4-6 teams. It'd also allow to spread out coverage and allow most of the conferences to gain some limelight instead of being tossed aside for the 11 vs 14 B1G, ACC or SEC game. Kansas, Duke, MSU and Kentucky probably aren't happy having to play in that Champions Classic right off the bat. But in the grand scheme of things, those games don't mean a whole lot.
