mdn82 Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Figured they could help more than we could. As I said the other day. We could be talking about the Serbian National team and someone would turn it into a post about Crean. Can’t disagree with that either. I feel bad for some. There were people that hated Crean far worse than the people making daily mentions and they have moved on. Some people I swear have PTSD. Feel bad for them. Hopefully the team starts doing well enough for them to move on. Some I don’t think ever will.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Agreed. As I have said before when K announces his retirement every established successful coach will get a pay raise. Duke will have to hire an up and comer much like us. Unless there is an established coach that is unhappy where he’s at. mdn82 1 Quote

Hard for me to fathom an established coach - not of the Coach K pedigree - wanting to have that shadow hanging over your head every single day. mdn82 and IUsafety 2 Quote

You will never measure up to him. It will probably take Duke overpaying for a name. Like a Billy D for sake of discussion. Someone that has a few years left and isn’t scared of legacy. He probably won’t do as well as K obviously but isn’t scared. The person following him won’t be as intimidated.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
