Most of the practices are in Assembly Hall so the players use its locker rooms the most. It is a slap in the face to players and recruits for them to be housed in such a drab environment. I am glad this is being addressed. You look at what the competition has and we have been way behind.
We need LED digital displays above each locker. This is what UK offers:

It isn’t falling apart, but this has needed to be addressed for a while. If you’re going to compete at an elite level, act like it.

Also, a lot of it is going to be redoing the restroom/showers, and carpeting and the ceiling…it’s just old.

I suspect they will be knocking down walls. Football is using the old Hoosier Room and rehab facilities next to their locker room to expand it.

There are a lot of old offices/rooms in AH that are not really used anymore.

Hard to read articles like that as we continue to flail with results. Biggest budget and resources yet middle results. Every reason in the world to expect top results and soon.

Yes, I know this is Archie’s first year and with Creans roster. But soon, we should be/need to be dominant.

Interesting to see the picture of Dayton's locker room. You can't help but wonder if the proposed overhaul was put on the table by Archie himself once he got here and saw the current state of the facilities.

We aren’t getting much of a return on our spending. And the facilities are not the best in the conference. 

For now that’s very true. Crean wasted money hand over fist.

Archie hasn’t had a chance for him and his staff to demonstrate their worth.

You may have addressed this and I missed it but any timetable for completion of each the football and basketball locker rooms?
