Makes no sense unless he thinks Phinisee will be better.He was trying to keep everyone for continuity sake and that was stated very early even before McKinley decommitted from Dayton. For someone that follows this as much as you do I know you know this. Waters was never recruited by CAM. That was Crean only if I remember correctly. Waters could have been recruited too.Who is to say they didn’t call waters and he said no thanks. Waters was recruited by Crean and IU lost that battle to Georgetown. He decommitted and everything I saw there was no interest on waters part to consider IU again just like tucker never considered IU again after Crean was let go. To me, he is a smart, likeable kid that has pretty good athleticism but until that shot is WAY better he is a disadvantage to us on the floor. Kind of like Tum Tum Nairn for MSU last year.
