woodenshoemanHoosierfan Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Has it be a continual thing on this board to complain and knock Crean every chance someone gets? If so, I might be out on the basketball discussions on this board. Are their mods on the place? I agreeSent from my SM-T377V using Tapatalk Quote
woodenshoemanHoosierfan Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Conversation will move on from Crean. It already has for the most part. Much of what Crean gets, he has brought upon himself. *most here-respect what he did for us and did it in as clean as way as possible. Fans are frustrated he couldn't fulfill his duties as we hoped for the program. People are going to vent. I personally don't understand why some people take the jokes so seriously. I read them, giggle or don't, then move on. As mods we aim to keep things civil, but we allow critiques of players and coaches. woodenshoemanHoosierfan Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 I'm wrong for witnessing how the man treated a student? Lol ok So then RMK is a terrible person correct? [emoji6] Sent from my SM-T377V using Tapatalk waitingon6 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

Dalton26 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 I don't hate RMK though because that's who he was at all times, while CTC put on a fake front when the public is watching. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 If I had to guess on what Crean is like as a person I'd say he's probably like most people. Not as great as his supporters say he is, but not as bad as his critics say he is either. He's probably somewhere in the middle. Edit: JSHoosier beat me to it. Quote

[emoji6] Sent from my SM-T377V using Tapatalk That's not what was said though, at all. I believe he said "overrated" not "terrible". And if that was what he said, that is his opinion based on whatever information and experiences he has to make those claims. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 For those that watched, was Maryland Jalen Smith dominant again today. That kid was running things yesterday. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Cincinnati and Oklahoma State both won two NCs 50+ years ago too. Does anyone consider them elite programs? Bob Knight turned IU into a blue blood program. Knight made IU and no one can say otherwise Yeah I mean I understand that some people have soured on Knight because of how he has acted post-IU, but there's no denying the impact he had on the program. Heck, he hasn't stepped foot in Assembly Hall in almost 17 years and he's still synonymous with IU basketball to a lot of people. Str8Hoosiers and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
