Vacating a banner if that includes all the wins in that period... The coach's suspension and scholarship losses are small fish when you vacate and entire championship.

In regards to the scholly's:

A reduction in men’s basketball scholarships by two during the 2016-17 year (self-imposed by the university). Additionally, the university must reduce men’s basketball scholarships by four over the probation period. The university may take the reductions during any year of that period.

So they could maintain 13 scholarship players until the fourth year and then drop to 9 for a year? I wouldn't be surprised if that's around the time quick Rick bounces.

Not the same scenario, but both diff types of apples.

 

We'll find out what happens. I think he was red-shirted because it will really help his game, and maybe it was noticed that his game wasn't helped that much.  Maybe we'll find out his indiscretion.

Not sure why anyone would want to play for this guy.  I'm no U of L know it all, but it appears he has brought nothing but negative press for the university, especially if they vacate the national championship.  Just look at the guy ...

Ultimately that might be Indiana's crux to return to the prominence of college ball. Too many play in the gray area or just outright cheat to get recruits. If Indiana isn't on the same level playing field its results will be less (on the average).

I'm hoping we can have Sean Miller like recruiting success here at Indiana. If we do, we will be in the conversation on a regular basis.

Pitino knows the weight of his assistants but had zero knowledge of anything shading going on? I don't buy that. He might not have known exactly what was going on but he had some idea.
