I totally agree. There have to be some alumni now secretly plotting Alford's demise. It was yet another disappointing season in Westwood with all the talent they have on that team.

P.S. If they get rid of him can we have TJ Leaf? They can have all the rest....I still wish that kid would have picked the Hoosiers. Baller with Indiana roots.

The jewel of MAC jobs is open. Keith Dambrot to Dusquene. He was a MAC coach in his 30s and missed his chance to put it one way. One of few guys who could come in and faithfully say they can recruit the area. Dambrot v CMU is one heck of an interesting case history and the story of his downfall is pretty unique and unfortunate. Also one of the little known aspects in why Lebron could have developed so good - he had access to D1 level coaching at a personal level when Dambrot was ostracized from coaching hoops and giving individual workouts for anyone willing in the Akron area. Lebron had him on speed dial throughout his career when his jumper / FT was struggling and for advice.

Interesting story.

Never heard about this story. Some mentions of coach K and Sampson in it

Shocking. A scumbag guy who thinks he's better than everyone around him came from Knight's coaching tree...

Just watched it myself. So intriguing. Never liked Behiem, and well, we all know about Sampson. But lost some respect for Coach K after his remarks as to why he or other head coaches would never hire someone like the Baylor asst coach Ash. Shows that these guys are afraid to be caught 'ridn dirty'. Or maybe supremely paranoid. Anyways, a really good documentary.

Makes sense, they can take the spot that Navy occupies for football.

Yep the AAC would have 12 teams for both football and basketball. Navy being strictly football and Wichita State being strictly basketball. The other 11 teams do both. It makes complete sense for both sides

That whole article was disturbing. To think Baylor has been a solid program for years and this happened in 03, should make any excuse be thrown out the window for any coach. They covered up murder, got away with it and all the national media and yet here they are. Idk what it is with that university but they have to figure out a way to keep things like this and the rape scandals from happening.

Coach K saying what he did deserved a lot more news than it did. If that interview with those 3 happened today, just think how bad it would be for even Coach K. Sampson and Boeheim don't surprise me. Boeheim has ALWAYS struck me as dirty. Great coach, but that is about as much as I can give him.

I'm not saying this assistant deserves a job, but if Bliss got a job before him than he does. Bliss should have never been able to coach kids EVER again.

A friend of mine and I are playing a game where we each take a few players for the rest of the tournament. Whichever team scores the most amount of total points throughout the rest of the tournament is the winner. I had 1st, 4th and 5th pick, and he had 2nd, 3rd, and 6th. I've got Justin Jackson, Tyler Dorsey, and Sindarius Thornwell. He's got Nigel Williams-Goss, Joel Berry, and Dillon Brooks. I'm hoping USC takes down Gonzaga and that should give me a win.

Bob Knight, Coach K, Dave Bliss inside Assembly Hall.  I truly believe I am the only person with this photo from an old program.  I read somewhere that there's only one photo of K and Knight at Assembly Hall and this one is not it.  Who can name the other two coaches?

I think the coach between Coach K and Knight is Bob Donewald.
