rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 You don't have to sell me on Alford. I loved Alford as a player---I was at IU when he led us to the championship. He was nothing but net and worked as hard as anyone I ever saw fighting through screens! My point is ---he was a better player then a coach. As a coach---he has had his share of problems and average seasons---and I did not like the way he handled the Pierce situation at Iowa. My opinion is he is not IU's answer as Coach.
