Big 10 teams always look so scared to shoot the ball. The gap in shotmaking ability feels astronomical versus other conferences, especially at the top.

Watching the big ten tournament championship game are two teams:  coaches who coached high quality talented players and teams to both, know what they are doing.

And yes Matt Painter knew what he was doing when he recruited Braden Smith 3 star Westfield High School Indiana Mr. Basketball in 2022.

Purdue was the biggest offer though thereafter some other major programs including Indiana started to show interest.

Yep.  I can’t wait for this crop of PU seniors to go.

They will of course replenish them over time with new annoying players, they are an annoying player factory, but getting rid of these guys will still be nice.

Cluff was such a great portal pickup. Considering the Big Ten encourages tackle basketball, he is allowed to thrive. He will foul out by halftime vs any decent team with noncon refs.

Very curious what it looks like. They’ve got Pierce coming in.  Antoine West is being heralded as really, really good.  Ertel continues to prove to be Smith like.  They’ve continue being good, but they also lost a lot.

Purdue won the Wresting Championship today in Chicago.  Give Painter credit, he knows how officials ref these Big Ten Tournament games and he builds a team to take advantage of it.
