TheWatShot Posted March 5 Posted March 5 CJ Cox has absolutely wrecked Northwestern in the second half, and somehow there's no one within 10 feet of him with under a minute to play. Quote
HinnyHoosier Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Purdue is going to survive but needed a career night from Cox and two consecutive passes out of bounds by NW to do it. Quote
spe317 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I have a Purdue recruiting theory. Painter only recruits big uglies so he can say he’s not the worst looking guy on campus. OliviaPope40, LIHoosier, hoopsta007 and 1 other 4 Quote
hoopsta007 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Gotta love the irony of the missed foul on DeVries three pointer against NW and seeing Purdue get bailed out by Smith getting 3 free throws on a phantom foul against NW late in the game OliviaPope40, mamasa and southsidehoosier 3 Quote

Stuhoo Posted March 5 Posted March 5 A shame that the Wildcats couldn’t beat them. Puredon’t didn’t really look very excited when the left the court. Quote
Uspshoosier Posted March 5 Posted March 5 New Mexico down 15 at home to Colorado State late in the first half. New Mexico is on the bubble Quote

Kaufman-Renn only got 9 shots and Smith came up just short of double digit assists despite playing the entire game. I can see why they were disappointed. Quote
Uspshoosier Posted March 5 Posted March 5 New Mexico lost st home last night. They are firmly near the cut line. USC lost again and are probably in having to win the BTT territory especially with the 40 year old quitting on his team. Committee can argue they are a different team without him and they have lost every game since he left Stuhoo, str8baller, Class of '66 Old Fart and 1 other 4 Quote

They've been playing great but had so much ground to make up. Obviously they need to beat TCU, but then what do they need in the Big 12 tourney? Quote

Cincy is the one of the hottest teams in the country right now. They definitely need to take care of TCU I have them next 4 out Eastern Michigan home loss destroyed their WAB Their WAB is 58 right now and that needs to get to around 42 I think it’s a little too late for them however no one will want to play them in the Big 12 tourney It will be interesting how the committee treats them if they do find their way back to the cut line Five Prime 1 Quote

If they beat TCU it looks like they'd likely be the 8 seed playing in the 8/9 matchup with the winner playing Arizona. If, big if, they beat the 9 seed and then Arizona, that would be 4 ranked wins including a 1 seed, likely 2 seed ISU, 4/5 seed Kansas, and BYU. All of those would have come in the last 2 months of the season and 3 in the last 3 weeks. That doesn't erase the poor earlier season performances, but it would be a really good argument to get them in. Edit: actually they'd either be the 6 or 7 seed with a win against TCU. That would put them playing either the 2 or 3 seed if they win their first game. Still another potential ranked win. Uspshoosier 1 Quote
