Jury is still out; Miss Valley St is 1-7 with their only win against the D3 team “Mississippi College for Women” (yes; for real- that’s a men’s team). A&M is 5-2 and has not beaten a top 250 team yet.

Just sharing a factual update on his stats. Thanks for the additional context.

We will see how their / his season goes!

Mgbako returned from his foot injury two days ago vs. Mississippi Valley State. In his first game of the year he played 17 minutes, 19 points on 3/6 from 3, 6/6 FT, 2 rebounds, 1 assist.

Games I'll probably watch today:

UConn @ Illinois 12:30 on FOX

St Mary's @ Vandy 1pm ESPN2

Oklahoma @ Marquette 2pm NBC

Providence @ Florida 3pm FOX

Texas A&M @ Florida State 5pm ESPN2

Wisconsin @ TCU 5:30pm FOX

Miami FL @ GTown 7pm ESPN

Ohio State @ Pitt 7pm ESPN2

Really annoying that I have to do some work today. UConn/Illinois is obviously the headliner but St Mary’s/Vandy is gonna be a really nice game.

Marquette was up double digits early in the second half but Oklahoma has came all the way back and is up 7 with under 4 min to go

Marquette was down 1 with the ball and had a terrible past possession to get a fade away contested middle ranged shot that missed.  That happened an hour ago but the site did its thing and was down during the final seconds

2 buzzer beaters back to back yesterday during the blackout of 25.  This is getting annoying.    Ohio St loses to Pittsburgh again on a last second shot.  2 years in a row.   St Louis fouls up 3  and it backfires.  Stanford hit the first and then got the rebound and kicked it out for 3 to win the game with .6 seconds left.   Even when the site goes dark college basketball is still delivering

Mullins just checked in for his season debut against Illinois. UConn up early.

Injury or can’t crack the rotation? How did he look?

I believe he had an injury that kept him out of practice for some time.  If I remember the box score correctly, he played about 10 minutes and scored 2 points.

Game of the night in the Southland.  Conference play already starting with the 2 best teams facing each other.

Incarnate Word up 7 at home over McNeese with 7 min to go

Kansas St down 14 at home to Bowling Green

Colorado/Cal Baptist just tipping off

Kansas State and Marquette doing us no favors, however the metrics love us so far.

On a Tuesday night? This seems like it would be a weekend game with all kinds of hype around it, but the CFB championship games might have caused this.

Sec/Acc challenge.   Games are during the week just like the old Acc/B1G challenge.  B1G and Big 12 need to start a new challenge
